Sub: Frequent breakdown of Electricity in our locality
Sir,
It's becoming hard day by day to live in such a scorching summer without electricity. I am living in Palaspur and the supply of electricity is worsening day by day. The temperature is touching 40 degrees Celicious every day. But the supply of electricity is reducing daily. A 3-hour cut is common. A night without a ceiling fan is unthinkable. But when the clock ticks 12 in the night, there is a sudden load shedding. A sound sleep isn't in our luck.
I wonder, don't they feel the heat? I mean the people in the electricity board. Why don't they do anything? People are paying probably the highest electricity bill in this state and such is the value of money!
Through the column of this daily I am asking the authorities of the electricity board, why such an inequality for us? What's the problem with Palaspur? I hope our voice is reaching you.
Yours faithfully

Sir,
I would like to draw the kind attention of the State Electricity Board to the troubles and losses caused to the people by the frequent breakdown of electricity in our area. It affects all kinds of work at home, in shops and in industries. Honestly speaking, students and patients are the worst sufferers. A few weeks ago after the complaints by the locals, the supply was improved. But now the same problem is repeating. We have heard promises dozens of times. But the promises are just monthly promises. Nobody seems careful about the problem. This big bane has become the way of life. This may ruin the progress and prosperity of the state and its people.
Yours Faithfully

Sub: Frequent Load Shedding
Sir,
I don't know what is the problem with the electricity in our area? We have been facing frequent load-shedding since the beginning of summer. A power cut of 3 hours or more becomes a daily routine. It is most irritating at 11 pm when everyone is just gone or is ready to go to bed. This is just one fact.
But what about the patients in the hospitals and the students in the schools? Who will be responsible for the deaths in hospitals when a patient dies for not having the life support due to the load shedding? I don't know if my words are reaching to the authorities of the State Electricity Board. On behalf of the residents of the Siliguri Corporation, I am earnestly requesting you take proper care of the supply of electricity in the Siliguri area.
Yours faithfully
